Overview

Join City of Doncaster Council's expanding Occupational Therapy service in Doncaster, where City of Doncaster Council is dedicated to supporting adults to maximize their potential within their homes and communities. Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and improve independence of adults in the community through equipment provision, adaptations, and dignity in movement.
• Deliver person-centered Occupational Therapy interventions aimed at preventing, reducing, and delaying the need for formal care & support services.
• Assess double-handed care calls from a proportionate care perspective as part of the STEPS team.
• Work within the Positive Steps short stay assessment unit to support individuals discharged from hospital back to their homes.
• Organize and prioritize workload effectively, balancing conflicting demands.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
• Newly qualified candidates or those returning to practice are encouraged to apply.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary range of £31,372 - £41,438, dependent on experience.
