Dunelm, Peterborough, Seasonal Sales Assistant

Dunelm's store in Peterborough is looking for a minimum of 16 hours per week Sales Assistant to join Dunelm from September 2024 until February 2025. You will need to be fully flexible over the course of the week, with hours spread across the week, including at least one evening and a Saturday or Sunday shift.

Pay: £6.72 - £11.44 per hour, depending on age and experience.

What you'll be doing

The role involves being trained in all aspects of customer-facing store life:

• Tills – Serving customers with purchases or returns, ensuring all items are complete and fragile items are packed securely.
• Shop floor – Assisting customers in finding products and providing excellent service to maintain customer loyalty.
• Hosting – Using Dunelm's iPad systems to order products for delivery to customers' homes, and styling Dunelm's departments to inspire customers.
• Stock and Delivery – A physical role involving heavy lifting, merchandising, checking stock control, and replenishing shop-floor items.
