About the opportunity: Everton FC have a fantastic opportunity for a Receptionist to join Everton FC's Everton in the Community Team, covering The People’s Place. As a receptionist, you will be the face of Everton in the Community, the first point of contact for visitors to The People’s Place; greeting, providing advice, information and assistance to Everton FC's diverse visitors. You will also provide administration services as and when required in support of the wider use of the People’s campus.
You must have a real passion for delivering exceptional customer service, no matter what the situation, as well as assisting with the day-to-day coordination of all other activities and room bookings within the buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for customers, participants and staff visiting the campus, greeting all visitors and dealing with enquiries while ensuring a first-class level of customer service.
- Work closely with The People’s Place Manager to ensure awareness of the support programmes and activities being delivered.
- Support the People’s Place Manager in administrative activities related to the buildings CRM system.
- Undertake daily opening checklists with the support of the Facilities Manager.
- Ensure equipment is available for participants and returned effectively.
- Manage the booking systems for activities within the building.
- Interact with colleagues from other departments to ensure good working relationships and delivery of customer service.
Who Everton FC is looking for: Everton FC is looking for an individual who is driven and motivated with a commitment to providing excellent customer service and a proactive “can-do” approach to work.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Mental health Awareness Training and/or a willingness to work towards this.
- Highly computer literate with excellent abilities on Word, Excel and ideally Database knowledge.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to anticipate and prioritize diverse workloads effectively.
- Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to build rapport with all levels of an organisation.
- Experience dealing with customers face-to-face and over the telephone.
