Richmond and Wandsworth Councils are seeking a Principal Policy and Information Officer. This role offers a salary range of £48,600 to £58,893, depending on skills and experience, with an 18-month fixed-term appointment.
About the Role
The Principal Policy and Information Planner will serve as a professional expert, leading the implementation and delivery of planning policy. You will oversee Senior Planners and Planners, ensuring that projects meet corporate and national targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of planning professionals.
- Provide definitive and professional advice for the councils.
- Create and apply planning policy and strategy.
- Deliver a high-quality, transparent Spatial Planning service.
- Ensure timely decision-making and excellent service delivery.
