Richmond and Wandsworth Councils are seeking a highly motivated Senior Planning Officer to join Richmond Council's Development Management Team based in Richmond.
In this exciting position, you will be responsible for:
- Managing complex planning applications and pre-application submissions
- Handling appeals as required
- Providing senior level support to the Principal and Team Manager
- Signing off reports and leading an area team
Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will negotiate effectively to ensure outcomes align with the Council’s objectives of promoting innovative development while preserving the historic character of the borough.
