Overview

Academics LTD is currently seeking fun, dynamic, and supportive Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with Multiple Learning Difficulties and complex needs. A brilliant and supportive SEN School is looking for Teaching Assistants to work with pupils aged 4-19 with a range of Special Educational Needs. The provision has a great team who are committed to ensuring the pupils get the most from their educational experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to students with Special Educational Needs.
• Assist with daily classroom activities and facilitate learning.
• Help students with personal care as required.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a supportive learning environment.
• Monitor and document students' progress.

Salary and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary of £80 - £90 per day, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include opportunities for professional development and training.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position, with a standard workweek of 35 hours. Shift patterns may vary based on the school's schedule.

Education and Experience Requirements

• A relevant qualification in education or childcare is preferred.
• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to various classroom settings.
