Main Duties of the Job
The post-holder will lead and supervise the catering team in the provision and delivery of all patient catering services, specifically focusing on patient meals, retail, and hospitality in alignment with the NHS food review. Responsibilities include:
- Cash handling and audits
- Creating and managing rotas
- Addressing sickness and assisting in daily management at Queen's Hospital
This role requires initiative and awareness, strong communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility is essential, as the role includes working on weekends and Bank Holidays. Full training will be provided.

Skills and Experience
Essential
- Level 3 Food Safety
- Supervisory (Leadership) Qualification or equivalent
- Experience in cash handling and working with electronic cash tills
- Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Desirable
- Experience in customer service with key stakeholders
