Food Production Manager

Overview

Wise Employment are currently recruiting for a Night Production Manager (Food) for an established and successful food manufacturing company based in Callington, Cornwall. This is an on-site permanent role on a Salary of up to £42k working Nights Friday to Sunday 18:00 to 06:00. This role includes an excellent bonus package including:

This role is instrumental as a Night Production Manager, responsible for managing daily and long-term activities within the department, ensuring the attainment of daily production plans.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and engaging staff, conducting training and appraisals
• Planning, structuring, and organizing work to meet objectives
• Conducting H&S checks
• Achieving KPIs in production efficiencies, people, quality, and profitability
• Evaluating performance levels against targets and addressing variances
• Coordinating permanent and temporary labor during shifts
• Implementing Allergen controls

Experience required:

Successful candidates will have experience in a production supervisory or management capacity within a food manufacturing environment. A Level 3 or above in Food Safety is desirable, as well as a Level 2 and IOSH or above in Health & Safety. A strong understanding of HACCP is essential, along with a resilient leadership style capable of coaching and developing your team.
