Quality Assurance Officer

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will work across all of Cambridgeshire County Council’s Children’s Services, including Targeted Support, Youth Justice, and SEND. You will be part of a growing team focused on social care values and practice standards, committed to supporting colleagues and improving outcomes for children and families.
What will you be doing?
Your role will include:
- Interpreting data, utilizing feedback, and planning audit activity
- Completing audits both desktop and alongside practitioners
- Writing reports and sharing findings with a wide-ranging audience, including senior leaders
- Informing and delivering workforce development activities such as workshops
- Supporting quality assurance systems and monitoring tools
- Assisting leaders in quality and performance monitoring
- Engaging with service users to center their voices in Cambridgeshire County Council's work
About you
You have significant experience in social care, understanding what good practice entails. Your ambition is to drive service improvement and positively impact children and families. You are flexible with changing demands and employ creative approaches to challenges.
