Overview

Cambridgeshire County Council is looking for an experienced, passionate, and enthusiastic Senior Practitioner to join Cambridgeshire County Council's South Cambridgeshire Assessment Team. This role is crucial in ensuring that children, young people, and families in Cambridgeshire County Council's community receive a positive and timely service.

Cambridgeshire County Council's Assessment Teams are lively and fast-paced, allowing for a high level of multi-agency working. You will see positive outcomes quickly, with holistic support provided to manage challenges.

The team operates in a hybrid model, with part home and part office working in Trumpington, Cambridge.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Provide leadership in high-complex cases involving risk and safety.
  • Prepare concise written and verbal reports for various settings, including court.
  • Lead and support Social Workers and Child Practitioners in their development.
  • Assist in case planning, allocation, and review.
  • Support staff recruitment and induction.

About You:

Cambridgeshire County Council seek a confident individual who enjoys making a difference. You must be a qualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration and able to travel independently across the county.
