Job Title: School Receptionist and Administrator
Location: Belmont Secondary School, Rawtenstall
Salary: £19,300 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week; 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
Contract: Permanent; term time only
Are you a School Receptionist/Administrator committed to improving the lives of children and young people?
Job Purpose: To provide administrative and clerical functions for the school and its staff, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and effectively in compliance with the requirements of the Acorn group and the school Senior Leadership Team.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
- Provide timely and confidential administration support to staff and managers.
- Maintain up-to-date and securely stored records and documents.
- Support other members of the Administration Team with additional tasks.
- Operate in accordance with Company policies, particularly concerning Safeguarding and Child Protection.
- Participate in training and take responsibility for personal development.
Essential Criteria:
- Relevant experience in an administration role.
- Experience working with young people, particularly those with autistic spectrum disorders (desirable).
- Experience in an education or residential setting (desirable).
- Driving license (desirable).
