Cover Supervisors

Overview

As a Cover Supervisor, you will lead lessons for approximately 25 pupils in the absence of the class teacher. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience in a secondary school environment before applying for Initial Teacher Training. While prior experience is desirable, it is not essential as Smart Teachers provides free training for those new to the secondary school setting.

About the Role

Cover Supervisors will work across a range of secondary school subjects without needing to be subject specialists. Successful candidates can opt for daily supply or longer fixed-term contracts at partnering schools in Barnet.

Salary is based on experience and qualifications, influenced by school budgets for Cover Supervisors.
