National Sustainability Assistant

In the Sustainability role in the National Supply Chain Management department, you will support Aldi's Global Sustainability Strategy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the National Supply Chain Manager in reducing Aldi’s operational environmental impact.
- Monitoring projects for carbon reduction across the business.
- Aligning outbound sustainability strategy with inbound sustainability strategy.
- Engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensuring efficient and accurate information flow.
- Communicating complex information clearly to relevant audiences.
- Influencing business decisions regarding sustainability.
- Proactively developing your knowledge and suggesting carbon reduction initiatives.
- Monitoring technological advances and competitor activity in Sustainability.
- Preparing necessary paperwork for project communication.
About You:
- Understanding of Sustainability and Supply Chain.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with multitasking capability.
- Curiosity to improve and simplify processes.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Ability to analyze challenges and offer solutions.
- Flexibility and resilience in a changing landscape.
- Experience in developing business cases.
