National Sustainability Assistant

In the Sustainability role in the National Supply Chain Management department, you will support Aldi's Global Sustainability Strategy.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the National Supply Chain Manager in reducing Aldi’s operational environmental impact.
• Monitoring projects for carbon reduction across the business.
• Aligning outbound sustainability strategy with inbound sustainability strategy.
• Engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensuring efficient and accurate information flow.
• Communicating complex information clearly to relevant audiences.
• Influencing business decisions regarding sustainability.
• Proactively developing your knowledge and suggesting carbon reduction initiatives.
• Monitoring technological advances and competitor activity in Sustainability.
• Preparing necessary paperwork for project communication.

About You:

• Understanding of Sustainability and Supply Chain.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills with multitasking capability.
• Curiosity to improve and simplify processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to analyze challenges and offer solutions.
• Flexibility and resilience in a changing landscape.
• Experience in developing business cases.
