Overview

Provide High Quality Care to Patients. The post holder must be medically qualified and maintain GMC specialist registration and hold a licence to practice.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining the competencies required to carry out the duties of the post.
• Ensuring prompt attendance at agreed direct clinical care Programmed Activities.
• Involving patients in decisions about their care and responding to their views.
• Participating in clinical audit and incident reporting.
• Adhering to clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Working collaboratively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
