Overview

As a member of the Support Services Directorate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors across the Trust. Your responsibilities include:

• Maintaining cleanliness of floors, furniture, mattresses, and fittings.
• Correctly storing and using cleaning materials.
• Performing specialist and deep-cleans following infections.
• Cleaning medical equipment and completing decontamination certificates.
• Organizing your workload daily within scheduling guidelines.
• Communicating effectively with Domestic Supervisors and ward staff.
• Monitoring and replenishing stock levels of cleaning supplies.
• Operating cleaning equipment to meet cleanliness standards.
• Participating in the training of new staff members.
• Handling disposal of all types of waste.
