Overview

Lidl have an exciting new opportunity to join Lidl's Enfield Regional HR team as an Employee Relations Officer. Your people skills and existing employee relations expertise will be put to good use at Lidl. You’ll be working closely with Lidl's Employee Relations Consultant and HR Services team to provide Line Managers with support and advice on employee relations topics. What You'll Do

  • First-line advisory support to Line Managers.
  • Review investigation packs and assist with upskilling of line managers to enable them to deliver good people management practices.
  • Ensure process accuracy and proof letters prior to release (grievances, disciplinaries, and performance improvement).
  • Escalate any concerns to the Employee Relations Consultant or Head of HR.
  • Conduct trend reviews and escalate training needs analysis.
  • Ensure relevant processes and timelines are followed and escalate when necessary.
  • Track and update open cases via the Case Management Tool (CMT).
  • Review employee relations correspondence on behalf of the business.
  • Provide investigation support in complex cases.
  • Review occupational health reports and provide recommendations for Line Managers to act on.

What You'll Need

  • Experience in offering first-line employee relations support for Line Managers.
  • Experience in analyzing data trends and identifying training needs.
  • Good stakeholder management and people skills.
  • A strong multi-tasker with good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize conflicting deadlines.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • CIPD Level 3 desirable but not essential.
