Location: Bristol (Greenway Centre, Southmead)

Salary: £25,359 pro-rata per annum

Hours: 22.2 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Second Step have a permanent part-time vacancy for three days per week, based in the Greenway Centre, Southmead. Initially, this job was based in Speedwell and it may become necessary for you to transfer to this location, so you need to be flexible.

Second Step is a leading mental health charity in the South West, offering housing, support, and hope to thousands of people with mental health and other problems. Second Step's goal is to inspire hope and deliver change for everybody and every community Second Step work with.

If successful, you will be working within the Recovery Bristol Partnership delivering community health services in Bristol and Avon and Wiltshire Partnership Trust (AWP).

In the job you will be:

  • Working with families, carers, and friends within a multidisciplinary team
  • Building therapeutic relationships with service users
  • Supporting a team caseload of severe and enduring mental health needs of service users
  • Communicating effectively
  • Receiving management and clinical supervision, together with group reflective practice
