Senior Technical Lead

Overview

Are you an engaging leader with advanced technical skills? As a Senior Technical Lead at the Department for Work and Pensions, you will lead the design and development of secure computing platforms, ensuring they align with the DWP Strategy. You will be involved in creating technical product roadmaps and managing product lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert domain knowledge to project teams.
• Manage allocated resources and achieve defined objectives.
• Maintain internal and external relationships to reconcile priorities.
• Advise on implementation of changes in departmental policy.
• Manage performance against the technical roadmap.
• Advise senior stakeholders on technical strategy development.
• Work with production, security, and infrastructure teams for product resilience.
• Ensure alignment to DWP standards in product development.

Person Specification

• Demonstrable experience in information security.
• Experience with enterprise security tooling and frameworks.
• Understanding of cyber security controls.
