Details about the salary: Grade 5, Point 8-12 Pro Rata. Working hours/pattern: 5 days - 25 hours per week - term time only.

Main Work Location: Wick & Marcross Primary. Reason for Temporary Position: Long-Term Sick Cover.

Vale of Glamorgan Council is looking for a passionate and experienced Kitchen Manager. The number of meals served on site: approximately 110-120 per day. Applicants will be responsible for the daily operations of running the kitchen, and ideally, should have experience in catering on a large scale.

Responsibilities:

• The ability to supervise staff to achieve service objectives.
• The capability to plan and organize the kitchen to its full potential.
• Ability to work independently within the daily operations of running the kitchen.
• At least 2 years of practical cooking experience in a busy catering environment within the last 3 years.
• A strong commitment to providing a high standard of catering service.
