Overview

As an Outpatient Receptionist at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, your role is pivotal in delivering exceptional service to patients and visitors. This includes:

• Providing an efficient and friendly service to all patients and visitors attending outpatient departments.
• Recording patient attendance accurately and timely, in accordance with departmental policy.
• Ensuring patient outcomes are actioned accurately and timely.
• Making follow-up appointments and associated administration independently.
• Supporting the nursing team with the organisation of return transport for patients when necessary.
• Maintaining a professional image of the department and Trust at all times.
• Adapting to flexible working hours and sites to meet service demands.
