Position: Maintenance Operative

Location: Multi-site Bupa care homes in the Southampton area

Salary: £12.60 - £16.00 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the care home remains functional at all times, providing a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
• Conduct planned maintenance and keep accurate records.
• Assist in training and career development initiatives.

Key Skills / Qualifications:

• A good understanding of building services including heating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Practical experience in property maintenance and general repairs.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience or relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, BTEC).
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong customer service skills.
