Support Worker - Sleeping Nights, Immediate Start

Overview

Optalis is the Adult Social Care delivery partner on behalf of Wokingham Borough Council and the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council. Optalis provide individualised care and support for people with learning disabilities, autistic individuals, and those with physical disabilities.

This position as a Support Worker at The Paddocks involves working part-time, specifically 19.5 hours per week with two sleeping shifts (2200-0700) weekly on a set pattern:

• Monday – 3.30pm start, finishing 9am Tuesday
• Thursday – 1pm start, finishing 9am Friday

A sleeping night shift allows you to be present overnight while being able to sleep unless assistance is needed. Responsibilities may include helping with personal care, managing medication, and providing reassurance during emergencies.

Experience in care is beneficial but not necessary as full training is provided. You will support customers in their daily lives, assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and helping them improve their life skills.
