Client Payroll Team Lead - Immediate Start

Overview

This is a full-time position leading a team of Payroll Managers, to facilitate the smooth running of FMP Payroll Services by:

• Supporting the Regional Operations Managers
• Ensuring clients’ payrolls are run accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining high client retention rates
• Achieving high customer satisfaction in accordance with personal and team objectives
• Assisting in the upskilling of Payroll Managers

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and supporting a team of Payroll Managers, conducting one-to-one meetings, identifying training needs
• Processing clients’ payrolls as required
• Running payrolls, ensuring clients are paid accurately and on time
• Preparing BACS payments and RTI submissions
• Year-end processing and dealing with third parties including HMRC
• Setting up procedures for individual clients according to their needs

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

• Resolving client queries efficiently, building strong relationships
• Staying updated with payroll software upgrades
• Adhering to objectives set out in the In Year Review
• Attending monthly Bureau Management Meetings
• Authorising team holiday requests and logging team sickness
