Duties & Responsibilities:

• Dealing with multiple drivers
• Communicating with ports
• Booking delivery slots for entry in ports
• Using a Transport system called TOPS for recording drivers' start and finish times
• Chasing drivers for ETAs and ensuring they are on time
• Rerouting jobs as needed
• Checking all PODs are matched with the correct jobs on the system
• Speaking to customers about possible delays

Maritime Transport is looking for candidates who have the following:

• Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Essential
• Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal
• Excellent UK geographical knowledge
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Quick and efficient problem-solving skills
• Organized at all times
• Flexibility to meet the demands of the business
