The Opportunity

Based at William H Painter Funeral Directors - Yardley, Funeral Partners's Funeral Service Operatives are calm, professional, and play a vital role in Funeral Partners's service. They are often the first members of the team to meet Funeral Partners's families, providing reassurance that Funeral Partners will take good care of their loved ones whilst preparing them for their final journey.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving company vehicles (a full driving license is required).
  • Working in the mortuary, fitting coffins, and dressing the deceased.
  • Participating in funeral services and assisting with pallbearing.
  • Being part of the out-of-hours and on-call rota for additional earnings.

This role can be challenging and rewarding, with opportunities for progression into other roles such as Funeral Director, with the right skills and determination.
