John Whitgift Foundation currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Carers Information Service as an Advice and Assessment Worker.

The Carers Information Service was established in 1997 and is part of the John Whitgift Foundation. John Whitgift Foundation is a small, friendly team dedicated to providing free advice, information, and support to carers in Croydon. John Whitgift Foundation's services include:

• Health and wellbeing activities
• Carer's assessments
• Respite care
• Bereavement support
• Digital and printed publications
• Meeting room hire

Responsibilities:

As an Advice and Assessment Worker, your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting Carer’s Assessments
• Providing advice, information, and support to adult carers
• Assisting carers who are looking after a relative, partner, friend, or neighbor in need of help due to illness, disability, or old age

The ability to work well in a team is essential!

Working Hours: This role requires a commitment of 35 hours per week.
