Come and join Sainsbury's at Sainsbury's's festive sorting office where Sainsbury's prepare to deliver joy for Sainsbury's's customers this Black Friday and Christmas. You’ll be part of a team during Sainsbury's's busiest time of the year, bringing parcels and presents straight to Sainsbury's's customers' doorsteps.
Sainsbury's operate Argos Local Fulfilment Centres (LFC’s) nationwide to offer a brilliant choice and quick service to Sainsbury's's customers. Sainsbury's's LFC’s allow Sainsbury's to offer online ordering, home delivery, and click and collect services to Sainsbury's's customers, and to do this efficiently, Sainsbury's need brilliant colleagues to move and manage Sainsbury's's stock to ensure Sainsbury's's customers receive exactly what they have ordered.
What makes this job different?
You will be required to work a maximum of 7.5 hours between 6 am and 10 pm, including some bank holidays and weekends.
Responsibilities
You’ll be guided via headset to locate orders in the depot, pick the correct items, and deliver them quickly to waiting drivers and customers. You’ll also be responsible for putting deliveries away in the correct locations.
Team Environment
The centre is built on teamwork, and you’ll soon get into the rhythm of the job with friendly colleagues around to assist you.
