Job Summary

Albion Pet Foods Ltd is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Worker to join Albion Pet Foods Ltd's team in the raw pet food production sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that Albion Pet Foods Ltd's products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

• Operate and monitor food production machinery to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
• Follow established food safety guidelines, including HACCP protocols, to maintain product integrity and hygiene.
• Conduct regular quality checks on products, ensuring compliance with company specifications.
• Assist in the preparation and packaging of food items, ensuring accuracy in measurements and portion sizes using basic maths skills.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food production or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices, including HACCP certification is an advantage.
• Basic maths skills for accurate measurement and portioning of ingredients.
• Mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment operation and troubleshooting is beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A proactive attitude towards teamwork and communication within the workplace is essential.
• Physically fit, due to the manual handling of orders.
• Comfortable handling frozen raw meat products.
