Warehouse Operative - Immediate Start

Overview

Due to recent contract growth, exciting opportunities for experienced Multi Task Operatives (MTOs) have been created. These are key roles that will be central to the successful delivery of a contract where Wincanton is providing warehousing and transport services for equipment being delivered in for the construction of Hinkley Point.

Job Overview

The role is based in Wincanton's Warehouse, Hinkley Logistics Hub just off J24 in Bridgwater, with a shift pattern of:

• 06:00 - 14:00
• 10:00 - 18:00
• 14:00 - 22:00

This position is essential for Wincanton's operational success and contributes to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

• Being part of and contributing towards a Zero Harm culture
• Driving MHE - unloading and loading deliveries
• Delivering high personal standards to achieve KPI’s in safety, quality, performance and service
• Taking pride in ensuring accuracy in all aspects of the operation

Requirements

• Experience of working within a warehouse environment
• Excellent communication skills combined with logical problem-solving skills
• Ability to make recommendations for improvement
• Enthusiastic and committed, able to respond positively to changing demands
• MHE license(s) desirable but not essential as training will be provided
