Overview

GLL is currently recruiting a Leisure Centre Supervisor to join Windrush Leisure Centre in Witney. As a Leisure Centre Supervisor, you will be passionate about the leisure industry. This role is highly varied, encompassing responsibilities from unlocking the leisure centre and setting up to ordering supplies and ensuring a perfect environment for customers.

Once the day is in full swing, duty managers ensure operations run smoothly by handling customer queries, managing the team, and ensuring the successful operation of the gym, pool, and other facilities. Your development is a priority, as GLL provide training to enhance your skills in this diverse role.

What you’ll do:

• Exhibit a can-do attitude.
• Maintain a positive image of the centre through professional service.
• Assist customers with facility usage and encourage maximum participation.
• Prepare areas and equipment for sessions.
• Ensure effective daily operations, including security, cleanliness, and customer supervision.
• Implement all pool safety and operating procedures.
• Assist in maintaining 'good housekeeping' systems and improvement plans for energy conservation.
• Supervise staff on shift and allocate tasks efficiently.
• Manage team procedures including recruitment and appraisals.
