Retail Supervisor

Overview

Treeby & Bolton Shop & Gallery is looking for a supervisor with previous retail experience either as a supervisor or senior retail sales assistant. You will be well-presented, articulate, and confident when speaking with customers to leave a positive and lasting impression of yourself and the store.

Role Overview

The Supervisor Role leads the team in the absence of management in store, delegating tasks appropriately to ensure the day-to-day running of the shop and coordinating the team to ensure the right areas of the shop are covered.

Responsibilities

• Leading by example, and coaching others where needed, to make sure that Treeby & Bolton Shop & Gallery's customers feel welcome and their needs are being met.
• Supporting the store manager in ensuring that the Product and Shop standards are excellent at all times.
• Supporting with compliance and day-to-day transactional running of the shop, including necessary paperwork, cashing up, and having good operational knowledge of systems in store.
• Assisting the store manager in creating a positive atmosphere in the shop which is focused on delivering results.

Work Schedule

The role is a 21-hour contract with flexibility to work up to 30 hours per week to cover holiday/sickness. Other working hours may be available depending on experience.

Shift and Schedule

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability
