The Role: Primarily supporting the Space team within the Safety and Airspace Regulation Group (SARG), you will manage their training needs, delivery, and assist with the management process to develop bespoke training. This will be done in collaboration with subject matter experts and the SARG learning and development team. You will design and oversee the delivery of a space team training programme covering licensing, monitoring, policy development, and technical specialisms. Additionally, you will assist with the delivery of wider training across SARG that is not specific to Space team needs.
Core Accountabilities:
- Act as a training focal point for Space, SARG teams, and individuals on all aspects of learning and development.
- Support the development of Wellbeing and Diversity and Inclusion.
- Advise on and facilitate training needs, managing bookings and feedback on quality, and supporting business analysts with data to develop management information.
- Support and advise on the training budget and plan for future funding.
- Collaborate and demonstrate good practice with the management of training for individuals and teams across SARG.
- Accurately record and report on mandatory training in existing CAA systems.
- Build collaborative relationships with other CAA teams and external training providers.
- Assist in the development of internal systems to manage training records for the Space department and across SARG.
About You:
Essential Minimum Criteria:
- Experienced in training and mentoring across various levels.
- Creative, practical, and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
- Confidently compile high specification written documentation and recording.
- Able to communicate proactively.
- Can develop collaborative relationships.
- Good knowledge in applying IT, especially in Microsoft Office applications and related software.
Desirable Criteria:
- Understanding of the obligations of the Safety and Airspace Regulation Group.
- Experience in a Matrix Management environment.
