Harewood Arms Hotel is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic professional Bartender to join Harewood Arms Hotel's vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating delightful experiences for Harewood Arms Hotel's guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving drinks, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring that all patrons receive excellent service in a lively restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible service of alcohol.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about the drink menu.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
• Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and drink measurements.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
• A genuine desire to help others and create memorable experiences for guests.

Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour
