Job Title: Laser Setter Operator with Forklift Licence

Location: Dudley

Hours: Alternating Shift Work (40 hours/week)

Shift Timings:

• Morning Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
• Afternoon Shift: Monday - Thursday: 2:00pm - 11:30pm / Friday: 2:00pm - 6:00pm

Pay:

• £13.00/hr for Morning Shift
• £13.50/hr for Afternoon Shift

About the Role: Trinity Personnel Ltd is seeking a skilled Laser Setter Operator to join Trinity Personnel Ltd's client’s team – the role will lead to a permanent position after a successful contracting period. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and setting up flatbed laser cutting machines, as well as loading and unloading materials and finished parts. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate production of parts to meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities of the Laser Setter Operator:

• Laser Machine Setting: Set up and operate laser cutting machines efficiently, ensuring accuracy and high-quality output.
• Material Handling: Load and unload materials and cut parts, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Part Sorting: Sort finished parts for delivery to customers, checking for any defects or discrepancies.
• Safety: Follow all safety protocols, including the safe operation of machinery and use of the counterbalance forklift.
• Heavy Lifting: Ability to lift heavy materials when required.

Requirements of the Laser Setter Operator:

• Previous Experience: Proven experience operating laser cutting machines.
• Forklift Licence: A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence is desired.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy items as part of the role.
• Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work alternating shifts, including early mornings and late afternoons.
