School Bus Driver

Overview

B&T Travel is looking for a driver to join B&T Travel's growing team in Tredegar. B&T Travel operate 8-29 seater vehicles, and work will range between 10-16 hours a week minimum doing school contracts in B&T Travel's 16 seaters around Tredegar, Ebbw Vale, and Abergavenny during term time. Hours typically range from 7am to 9am in the mornings and 2pm to 4:30pm in the afternoons.

Additional private hire work is available, but not compulsory, which may include local trips, airport transfers, and festivals.

Responsibilities

• Drive students safely to and from school.
• Provide private hire services if desired.

Pay and Benefits

B&T Travel pay a fixed amount per week for school runs all year round, including during half terms.

£13 per hour is paid for any additional private hire work, plus tips from passengers.

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime available

Requirements

Experience:

• Bus driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licences/Certifications:

• Category D Licence/PCV License (bus) (preferred)
• Enhanced DBS (preferred)

Work Location: In person
