Job Summary

Stonecraft Restoration LTD is seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join Stonecraft Restoration LTD's team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design. This role involves both interior and exterior painting, as well as decorative finishes, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Select appropriate materials and techniques for each project to achieve desired results.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and finishes.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly.
• Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements

• Proven experience in painting and decorating is essential.
• Strong communication skills in English to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
• Ability to drive and possess a valid driving licence is preferred.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: £17.00 - £19.11 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Construction painting: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
