Overview

ENeRGI provides practical and emotional support and information services for people with mental health and/or substance misuse issues in North East Fife and Levenmouth. East Neuk Recovery Group Initiative (ENeRGI) SCIO operate a Drop-In Centre, a short-term Housing Support Service, and long-term Housing Support. East Neuk Recovery Group Initiative (ENeRGI) SCIO's services are managed by the Project Manager and the ENeRGI Board, ensuring that East Neuk Recovery Group Initiative (ENeRGI) SCIO maintain high standards of care.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain professional, positive, and supportive therapeutic relationships with service users.
  • Work under the supervision of the Project Manager, ensuring the smooth running of all services.
  • Support service users to achieve personal growth and development through empowerment.

Key Tasks

  • Ensure day-to-day arrangements for the Drop-In, Housing Support, and Outreach Services.
  • Provide practical and emotional support to individuals facing mental health and substance misuse challenges.
  • Assist service users in developing life and social skills necessary to achieve their personal goals.
  • Manage an individual caseload as a Key Worker.
  • Conduct risk assessments and report concerns to the Project Manager.
  • Support, train, and supervise volunteers and other staff members.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and statistics.
  • Participate in assessing service users' needs and develop support plans collaboratively.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess an S.V.Q. Level 2 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification.

Terms and Conditions

The appointment is subject to a six-month probationary period, with a notice period of four weeks on either side. Holiday entitlement includes 25 days per annum plus 10 public holidays (pro-rata for part-time staff), totaling 35 days. Salary is paid monthly. This position is pensionable.
