A Global business based in Colnbrook is seeking a highly experienced and resilient Senior Finance Business Partner!
The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of post-qualification experience, demonstrating credibility and the ability to optimize team performance. Resilience is a crucial quality that the team values when evaluating candidates.
The role involves providing financial control and expertise, ensuring that results are accurately recorded, reported, and analyzed while identifying opportunities for improvement.
You will have the capacity to present financial results clearly and concisely, confidently engaging with stakeholders at all levels, and delivering valuable insights to the wider business. Your ability to balance multiple commitments and prioritize effectively will be essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead one direct report
- Provide financial support to the Board Directors
- Manage monthly reviews of costs, forecasts, and initiatives
- Represent finance on various business initiatives, providing financial advice and ensuring decisions are data-driven
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial Sales Team
- Ensure management information supports decision-making processes
- Oversee month-end procedures, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Conduct monthly analysis of approximately €150 million in revenue
- Report performance against KPIs, understanding the drivers of change
- Forecast future revenue and indirect costs, developing models to enhance forecasting accuracy
- Provide compliant financial accounting advice under IFRS
Key Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in financial controlling and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting
- Demonstrable experience supporting senior managers/directors and providing constructive challenges
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting results engagingly
- Solid financial accounting knowledge and practical application
- Ambition and a strong work ethic
- Good systems skills with strong Excel proficiency
