Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to be part of a new service development in Cheshire and Merseyside Region? The Specialist Community Forensic Team has recently been commissioned to work with key stakeholders and partner agencies to enhance community provision for people who are autistic or who have a learning disability.
Responsibilities
The primary secretarial responsibility lies with the Specialist Community Forensic Team for people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism (CM SCFT LD/A) Consultant Psychiatrist. Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust seek a Medical Secretary who is enthusiastic and person-centred, providing a high-quality and innovative service.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing comprehensive, efficient, and modern secretarial services primarily to the Consultant Psychiatrist.
- Managing and organizing meetings, consultations, and client reviews.
- Exercising judgement and prioritizing daily duties based on the needs and priorities of the Consultant Psychiatrist or service leads.
- Negotiating, influencing, and delegating tasks effectively.
Working Hours
The core business hours are Monday to Friday between 09:00hrs and 17:00hrs, based at the team's office in Hollins Park. Core hours for this position will be discussed during the interview.
Education and Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess:
- Knowledge of general/medical or legal terminology.
- A working knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
- Experience with Electronic Patient Records systems.
Salary and Benefits
