• Plus Gratuities: £6,000 to £8,000 PA (based on last year for full-time employees)

As a Sous Chef, you will be a key part of a large team of over 30 chefs on site, involved in working in the open fire kitchen, and supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of this unique restaurant.

Producing food to the highest standards is essential, with the luxury of the in-house dairy, farm, and large allotment. The majority of the produce you use will be sourced from the estate itself. If the demand exceeds the estate's production, the hotel will only buy from local, sustainable suppliers who share the same beliefs of creating a greener future.

The kitchen is open plan and customer-facing, featuring a small plates concept that cooks over an open fire using produce sourced from the estate when possible. In addition to the restaurant, the hotel also has another restaurant that has recently won a Michelin Green Star for its sustainability. The hotel regularly caters for weddings and corporate events, which requires exclusive use of the entire hotel.
