Salary: £47,420 to £50,512 a year pro rata plus £3,203 car benefit allowance.

About the job: Luton Rising is seeking a Social Impact Manager to lead, develop, and manage Luton Borough Council's community engagement and social impact strategies, supporting the vision of Luton 2040—a place where no one has to live in poverty. You will promote London Luton Airport as the UK’s leading community airport by developing key partnerships, ensuring impactful initiatives, and driving the social value of Luton Borough Council's corporate responsibility programs.

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with community groups, stakeholders, and senior management to develop corporate social responsibility strategies.
• Investigate and implement systems for calculating and reporting on social value.
• Draft strategies, manage contracts, lead tenders, and represent Luton Rising at community events.

About you: Luton Borough Council is looking for an experienced and dedicated professional with a strong background in community engagement, corporate social responsibility, and stakeholder management. You should have a proven track record in managing contracts and delivering KPIs for social impact initiatives.

Key skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of equality issues and legislation. Applicants should hold an ILM or equivalent management qualification or have substantial relevant experience.
