Hours: 37 hours per week (Term time only plus 10 days)

Cambrai Primary School is looking for a passionate and committed individual to join North Yorkshire Council's administrative team as North Yorkshire Council's Office Manager. North Yorkshire Council is seeking a highly organised, motivated, and friendly colleague who will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of North Yorkshire Council's school office.

Cambrai Primary School is a new school that opened in September 2019. In May 2020, North Yorkshire Council moved into North Yorkshire Council's brand-new permanent home, featuring the latest facilities and working environments.

You will work alongside colleagues from North Yorkshire Council's Central Trust Team who will train and support you.

The position is varied, and the successful candidate must have experience in project management, social media skills, communication skills, and empathy for others. As the Office Manager, you will lead the office team who are the first point of contact for staff, parents, and visitors.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to the Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Managing the school office, handling all enquiries and administration requirements, including maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Overseeing and supporting the facilities staff.
  • Ensuring the successful running of the school building on a daily basis.
  • Supporting the school’s financial administration, including processing invoices.
