Social Worker / Specialist Practitioner

Overview

The Emergency Duty Team (EDT) is seeking a qualified and experienced social worker to provide an emergency out-of-hours social work response. This role requires a high degree of experience, independence, and self-motivation.

Job Responsibilities

• Work on a rota basis to provide emergency support across client groups.
• Conduct complex assessments and make decisions under pressure.
• Collaborate with a supportive team of professionals.

Skills and Experience

Applicants should possess:

• A relevant social work qualification.
• Experience in both Children and Adult services.
• Approved mental health practitioner status.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
