Summary

Calderdale Council is looking for individuals who share the 'outstanding' ethos and are passionate about teaching, positively influencing learners' lives. Calderdale Council offer a wide range of courses to approximately 4,000 Adult learners throughout Calderdale, focused on accredited and community-based learning. Calderdale Council's provision adapts to the needs of Calderdale Council's communities.
Opportunities and Responsibilities
The role includes:
- Teaching BSL Level 1.
- Assessing learners' starting points and tailoring learning to individual needs.
- Tracking progress effectively.
- Providing relevant Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to identify appropriate future choices and pathways.
- Using online platforms to support teaching and learning.
Qualifications and Experience
Teaching experience within an adult setting is essential. Candidates should hold a recognized teaching qualification and have the appropriate qualification and/or professional experience in BSL.
Flexibility to discuss and agree on day/times for this contract is available.

Additional Information
