Job Title: Supply Teacher

Are you an experienced Supply Teacher looking for a new role within education? Do you manage classes effectively, with high expectations of behaviour? Do you establish a safe and stimulating learning environment?

TeacherActive is seeking an experienced Supply Teacher to join Teacheractive Limited's inclusive and supportive community of educators in various mainstream secondary schools in the East Devon area. You will need to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and know when and how to differentiate appropriately, enabling all pupils to be taught effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Hold QTS / Qualified Teacher Status, with a minimum of 6 months experience within a UK classroom setting (ECT / Early Career Teachers are also encouraged to apply)
• Deliver lessons across the whole UK secondary curriculum
• Teach across KS3 / Key Stage 3 and KS4 / Key Stage 4 (experience up to KS5 / Key Stage 5 desirable)
• Demonstrate consistently positive attitudes, values, and behaviour expected of pupils
• Manage classes effectively, using approaches that are appropriate to pupils’ needs
• Utilize formative and summative assessments to secure pupils’ progress
