Forklift Driver Counterbalance

Overview

As a Forklift Driver Counterbalance at Cotteswold Dairy's main Tewkesbury Depot in the Chilled Warehouse, you will operate across various site areas, including the factory floor and loading bays. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager and Supervisors, your role includes ensuring smooth distribution and addressing any issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Check goods in and ensure safe transportation and unloading of products.
• Maintain a clean Chilled Warehouse to provide a safe working environment.
• Exhibit flexibility to perform reasonable tasks as requested by senior staff.

Note: Due to food hygiene regulations, only a single solid wedding band is permitted, and no jewelry, strong scents, or cosmetics are allowed in the factory area.

Training Opportunities

Cotteswold Dairy's dedicated Learning & Development Team offers practical refresher courses for Forklift Licences and supports Academic Qualifications such as NVQs and Leadership courses. Internal trainers facilitate training on-site, ensuring team members can refresh their qualifications as needed.

Working Hours & Shift Patterns

Shifts are from Monday to Saturday:

• Early Shift: 07:00 - 16:30
• Late Shift: 09:00 - Finish (approximately 18:30), with 07:00 only on Saturday.

Flexibility in shifts may be required.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must possess a valid Counterbalance Licence, renewed within the last three years.
