Driving & Warehouse Operative

Overview

Shift and Schedule:

• Night shift: Monday to Friday from 19:00 to 05:00 or 21:00 to 07:00

Job Overview:

This mixed role involves 70% driving and 30% warehouse activities based at Manchester Airport. You will work within a small team, requiring good teamwork and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with 100% Aviation security protocols for all deliveries/collections.
• Load and secure items for delivery vehicles.
• Security screen items for either Cabin Baggage or Known Cargo Status.
• Manage time effectively and plan routes for deliveries.
• Plan and dispatch loads, coordinating with drivers as necessary.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary: £32,500 - £35,100 per year.
• 25 days holiday including bank holidays.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years driving experience (Airside experience preferred but not essential).
• Full UK Driving License with fewer than 6 points.
• 5-year checkable employment history without gaps exceeding 28 consecutive days.
• Right to work in the UK with no disqualifying convictions for working airside.
