Who Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust're Looking For
- A head for numbers and technology (evidenced either academically or through relevant experience).
- A proactive problem solver with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience with T-SQL as well as some of Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust's tech stack (SSRS, SSIS, Power BI) or similar tools.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- The ability and desire to proactively learn new skills.
- Previous NHS or healthcare experience (beneficial but not required).

Job Responsibilities
- Hybrid working with at least 2 days a week on-site in Chester (more during induction period).
- Flexible working hours.
- Liaise with Data & Digital Teams to ensure that the most up-to-date datasets and feeds are available via the data warehouse, tables, and databases.
- Work with users to resolve problems and issues with data and associated software.
- Support the development and support of the Trust’s Data Strategy and Service Line reporting agenda.
- Troubleshoot issues regarding data tables and consistently work toward improving and automating processes.
- Maintain the Trust’s data warehouses and related data feeds ensuring data integrity.
- Receive, manage and schedule requests from clients and colleagues for the development of data loads into the data warehouse.
- Carry out system/application testing in accordance with agreed policy on a regular basis.

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides services to West Cheshire and to Welsh patients covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The Trust works collaboratively within the wider Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership. Its services are provided from three locations:
- The Countess of Chester Hospital: providing 438 general and acute beds.
- Ellesmere Port Hospital: providing 56 beds as a rehabilitation, intermediate and outpatient facility.
- Tarporley War Memorial Hospital: a base for community services which serve the local rural population.
The Trust employs over 6258 staff and provides acute emergency and elective services, primary care direct access services, and obstetric services to a population of approximately 407,000.
