This is your chance to play a key support role within the Coroners' Court for Kent and Medway, managing all aspects of inquest hearings and supporting administrative functions.
You will collaborate closely with the Coroner and other team members, liaising with bereaved families and ensuring inquest hearings are legally compliant. Comfort in public court settings and familiarity with electronic equipment is essential.
Applicants should have a GCSE in English (grade C or above) or equivalent, with the ability to understand relevant legislation and guidelines. Training will be provided, and further development opportunities are available.
This post is customer-facing, and KCC mandates a command of spoken English sufficient for effective job performance.
Candidates who progress will shadow an usher for a day, followed by an IT assessment.
