Job Summary

As a Temporary Customer Service Assistant, your priority is to ensure that Scotmid Food's customers have a great experience every time they visit the store, through friendly service, great product availability, and first-class hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with their inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare and serve various products, including raw and cooked meat, alcohol, and allergenic foods.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards within the store.
• Engage in stock merchandising and assist with lifting and carrying tasks.
• Work flexibly across various shifts as the store operates from early morning to late night.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm and a passion for customer service.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in a sales or retail environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial.
